Little Lamb Microfibre Nappy

Little Lamb Microfibre Nappies are the ultimate fast drying nappy, ideal when drying space and time are limited. Similar to polar fleece, they come out of the washer almost ready to use.  Unlike other microfibre nappies we sell Little Lamb Microfibre nappies are velcro fastening shaped nappies with the Littlelamb cross-over tab that ensures a perfect fit every time.

The Little Lamb microfibre nappy is a great way to test the fantastic fit and amazing absorbency of our shaped nappies and comes complete with a booster (loose in size 1's and sewn into size 2's) and a washable fleecy liner.

The size 1 fits babies from around 7lbs - 20lbs (3kgs - 9kgs)

The size 2 fits babies from around 20lbs-38lbs (9kgs -17kgs)

Why is microfibre a quick dry fabric? If you looked at the material under a microscope you'd see that there're squillions of strands that make up the yarn. The fluid is held between each strand rather than being absorbed into the strand itself. This means that during the spin cycle almost all of it is spun out. Much like your polar fleece jumper.  They come out of the washing machine almost dry and need a quick line dry or a five minute blast in the dryer to finish them off.

Little Lamb knit the microfibre yarn onto the base rather than weave it to ensure that it does not shrink which means the microfibre nappies will last and last.

Little Lamb nappies have a unique cross-over velcro tab designed to fit your baby from very tiny through all the shape changes they will go through till they get to the stage that they do not need nappies any more. (Yes, this does happen eventually!).

Little Lambs have added elastic to the back seam - something that many nappy designers miss out. Maybe they have not had to manage an explosion when every thing shoots up baby's back. :-)

Super soft leg elastic around the waist and legs will last for years. This baby-soft elastic along with the adjustable waist band will stop any rubbing and chaffing.

Caring for the nappies is simple. At change time as you open the nappy fold the Velcro tabs back over on themselves. Remove any liner - if used - and put the nappy in a dry bucket. When you have a load wash the nappies, washable liners and wraps all together at 30˚ to 40˚ with half the detergent manufacturers recommended amount. Line dry or a cool tumble is fine. Ensure you use the dry bucket system and your nappies will last for baby after baby. Dirty Littlelamb nappies only need to be stored in a dry bucket until you have enough for a load. There's no need to soak nappies anymore as washing machines, detergents and nappy materials have advanced so much since Grandma's day.

MICROFIBRE NAPPIES are made from polyester fleece and are the quick-dry nappies of the washable world. Like a fleece jumper they come out of the washer almost dry. With careful laundering they should last three babies.
