My top eco-family tip: reusable nappies of course. We are also having some success with using a bokashi bin- helpful for all the food the boys leave on their plates.
Favourite simple activity to do with your baby: Cuddles, tickling and giggling- just having fun and enjoying them.
Favourite activity to do with your baby: The boys have really enjoyed and benefited from music classes.
Best baby buy: My reusable nappies saved me a lot of money. Cot mobile with lights and music meant Connor went straight back to sleep in the middle of the night instead of screaming for an hour!
Worst baby buy: Lots of things we didn’t use as much as we thought we would. Never really used my sling because as soon as I got one baby in the other one would want a feed.
Real Nappy Experience: We have tried a variety of types. Fluffles, Terry squares and Little lambs when the boys were little. The Terry squares became harder to get them into as they got older. We now use a combination of Motherease one size and wonderoos birth to potty nappies. The pocket nappies are great for sending to nursery as they are so easy to put on. I also use reusable wipes although I wish the cheeky wipes had been around when I had the boys as they look so easy to use.
Potty Training Experience: Not quite there yet! Watch this space.
Top tip for new parents: Trust your instincts and enjoy your baby try not to wish the time away- easier said than done especially with twins.
